The possibilities for drawing on investments to Burgas region, Ravnets economic zone financing, easier rules for a stay of foreign investors – these were a part of the items discussed by Governor Valcho Cholakov and Minister of Economy Assoc. Prof Teodor Sedlarski.

In Cholakov’s opinion when a foreign citizen is investing in purchease of estate or in stocks, he should get permission for staying in our country.  That is one of the ways to foster foreign investments. The Governor claimed assistance from the state to support the development of Ravnets economic zone as well as more powers for Burgas Municipality related to the management of the consigned area. According to him 3500 decares are extremely attractive and with a good management conception investments could be drawn on to Burgas region.

The Governor discussed with the Minister also the options for raising the verge of VAT, introduction of patents for some activities, disencumbering of permitting rules and procedures, related to business, for example revoking of the obligation for publishing the annual financial report in the Trade register.
