The winter situation in Burgas region is still complicated, do not travel

The emergency in Burgas region is still in force, informed Governor Valcho Cholakov, who is going on to be on the spot of the traffic jam in Aytos area. Closed for car traffic are Trakiya Highway, Rishki pass, the road Burgas – Aytos. Travelling is under winter conditions on the road Burgas – Varna and cars must be with chains. The road Burgas – Sredets is also open. Many towns and villages in the municipalities Burgas, Nesebar, Pomorie and Karnobat are without electricity due to broken air lines. EVN teams are working on recovery of the  power supply but the access to many of the failures is difficult.

According to the information of the officers on duty in the Municipalities Sozopol, Tsarevo, Malko Tarnovo, Kameno and Ruen the situation there is normal without warnings for problems due to snow. Snow-cleaning companies are working on the spot.

The Regional Crisis Staff appeals to people not to travel in this complicated situation. Institutions continue working on normalization of situation.
