Pupils from Burgas region and governing body of Burgas Regional Administration paid homage to the memory of the poet and revolutionary Hristo Botev with poems, performance of the anthem of Hristo Botev High-School Sungurlare and presentations of our cultural-historical heritage. Last year Governor Valcho Cholakov started this initiative of young people visiting the Burgas institution and it was accepted as useful both for them and for the administration. This time the event rose the interest of more regional schools and pupils from schools named after Hristo Botev in the towns Aytos, Sungurlare, Karnobat and Ekzarh Antimovo village joined it. These young people impressed the hosts with their large knowledge of Bulgarian history as well as with interesting and little known facts about the settlements where they live.
The Deputy Governors Vladimir Krumov and Sevdalina Turmanova on their part presented the activity, responsibilities and duties of the Governor as well as information about the 13 municipalities in Burgas region.
