The corridors of the Burgas Regional Administration resounded with songs and wishes for health. This year as well following the tradition the institution opened doors to welcome young Lazarus’ girls who came to perform the beautiful Bulgarian custom.
Dressed in traditional costumes, the girls of the Lazar’s group at Prosveta Cultural Club in Lyulyakovo village performed songs and ritual dances with blessing messages. They were guided by the puppet named Lazar, carried by the youngest participant in the group.
Deputy Governor Assoc. Prof. Sevdalina Turmanova, who was the host of the festive event this year, observed the tradition and gave gifts to the girls inviting them to visit the house again.
