A joint seminar between 3 schools in Burgas presented the opportunities of the Erasmus+ Program and the projects implemented till now. The Acad. Nikola Obreshkov High-School of Nature Sciences and Mathematics, G. S. Rakovski Roman Languages High-School and Geo Milev English Language High-School were hosts of the event and shared experience and good practices in the Sea Casino with all those who were interested in the training and education program. The agenda of the seminar included seven project presentations.
The seminar started with the projects of G. S. Rakovski Roman Languages High-School, among which were Let’s love the school today, in order to love life tomorrow – Key Activity 1and other two projects – Key Activity 2:PEAKandUn partenariat intergénérationnel au service de la réussite scolaire.
Geo Milev English Language High-School presented experience in Erasmus+ on Key Activity 1– Youth with the project "Be Active = Be Perspective" - youth volunteering as a tool for better employability skills" as well as Key Activity 1– School Education with the project “Building of an institutional capacity for school management and internal inspection and modernizing of the foreign language education through the ICT- usage in the class room”.
The representatives of Acad. Nikola Obreshkov High-School of Nature Sciences and Mathematics – holder of the Burg of the year prize – presented to the audience two of their projects: „The Ruins of the Past to Power Еuropeans’ Future” и “Students Making an Enterprise in Real Time””.
One of the main aims of the Erasmus+ Program is to modernize education and to create partnerships between educational institutions in European Union. Through the participation in the projects implemented in the framework of the program many pupils and teachers have the opportunity to practice foreign languages, to be trained or to work as volunteers in countries of the Community. The program has a 7 year period and the budget available is 14,7 Billion Euro.
