Trade representatives of the embassies of Austria, Russian Federation, Italy and Hungary met Deputy Governors Sevdalina Turmanova and Vladimir Krumov.

The visit to Burgas was carried out at the invitation of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. It includes meetings with local authorities and visits to some plants in the region.

During the meeting at the Regional Administration information about the region and investment opportunities was presented to the guests. Deputy Governor Sevdalina Turmanova answered to questions related to personnel training in the region. The topic of interaction between business and educational institutions as an opportunity for improving the economic environment was of interest. Austria shared its positive experience in this direction and supported the efforts of our country for transition to dual education. Burgas is one of four towns where for the first time an Integrated Professional College will be founded.

The contingent of Hungarian tourists in 2015 is increased by 17 % or 80 000 persons more than last year. This informed the trade attaché of the Hungarian Embassy. According to him Burgas and its region are of increasing investment interest for the country he is representing.
