Meeting of the Regional council for development of South-East region

Regional council of development and Regional coordination committee of South-East Region meeting was held in Burgas. Deputy minister of Regional Development Ivan Asparuhov, Deputy Governor of Burgas region Sevdalina Turmanova, representatives of ministries, governors and mayors of municipalities in South-East region, representatives of employers’ organizations and syndicates, regional administrations, representatives of Managing authorities of operational programmes, academic circles in the region, NGOs etc. took part in the meeting.

The members of the Regional council discussed and adopted changes of the Internal rules for work of the Regional coordination committee. New members were introduced – representatives of the Managing authorities of the programmes for the time period 2014-2020 and representatives of the Regional council for development in the Monitoring Committees of Operational Programmes 2014-2020.

Especial attention was paid to the Purpositive  Investment Programme (PIP) supporting the development of the North-West Bulgaria, Rhodopes, Strandja, border areas, mountain and semi-mountain low developed regions.
