Deputy Governor Sevdalina Turmanova opened a round table with the title “Good practices and challenges for the deinstitutionalization in Burgas region” which is held within the framework of the project “The Regional coordination unit as a model of effective cooperation and interaction between civil sector, regional and municipal struktures”.
During the event working models in the sphere of deinstitutionalization and direct interaction with children and families in the region. Experts presented the outcomes of the Burgas Regional Administration Coordination Unit’s activity. This is a tool which involves and unites all structures and acting policies in benefit of children. Burgas was the first region in the country that established this unit brought together 26 organizations and institutions.
In the round table took part 40 social workers, experts, NGOs, universities and municipalities’ representatives.
