Deputy Governor Assoc. Prof. Sevdalina Turmanova, PhD officially closed the 5th World Championship of Folklore „World Folk 2015”.
During the gala concert and the award ceremony in Sunny Beach Resort prizes and certificates were awarded to the participants who have mostly impressed the competent jury of the competition. Absolute World Champions, winners of the statuette “Golden Orpheus” and a cash prize of 1000 Euro became the representatives of Poland.
World Folk 2015 was held within 10 days on the stages of Burgas, Nesebar, St. Vlas, Obzor and Sunny Beach. Over 120 folklore groups with over 1600 performers of authentic and cultivated folklore from 20 countries – Bulgaria, Indonesia, Russia, Irland, China, Korea, Iran, Poland and others gave impressing performances of dances and music from all over the world.
