Deputy Governor Vladimir Krumov attended at the official renovation start on Burgas Railway Station. The reconstruction is undertaken according to project “TEN-T-Network Rehabilitation of Railway Station Complexes” – “Rehabilitation of Railway Station Complex Central Railway Station Sofia”, Rehabilitation of Railway Station Complex Railway Passenger Station Burgas”, “Reconstruction and remediation of Reception Building Railway Station Pazardzhik – 2nd stage”. With the project’s implementation Burgas Railway Station will be completely restored and corresponding to the energy effectiveness requirements. The usage of modern technologies will be cleverly combined with the architectural appearance of the building. So the authentic look of the Railway Station which is promulgate an architectural monument will be preserved. Construction activities are expected to be finished till December this year.
The rehabilitation of Railway Station Burgas is implemented with co-financing from the European Regional Development Fund through Operational Programme “Transport” 2007-2013. The price of the site is approximately 7.4 million BGN Vat excluding.
