Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
We celebrate on 3-rd March the National Day of the Republic of Bulgaria, On this day 137 years ago has begun the new history of our country and Bulgarian people fulfilled their dream of freedom and unification.
Today fixing our eyes on the future we commemorate all those brave Bulgarians who brought the Liberty to our country with their sacrifice and unappeasability. This day enjoins us to think about the values and legacies left by all known and unknown men and women who gave their lives for the being of Bulgaria today. Values like dignity, duty, patriotism, unity which sound the more so as topical in our present days. Values we must stand up for and educate our children in order to guarantee a brighter future for Bulgaria.
Today I am directing a message to all politicians, sociale persons, public opinion leaders, to the Bulgarian people to make maximum efforts for achieving prosperity, European standards and stability.
Let us remember the heroic deed of our ancestors and their bright ideals. Let us be deserving followers of those who gave us freedom as a present.
Let Bulgaria last for ever !
