Culture

Burgas Region has a centuries-old history as a crossroad of nations and cultures. Architectural and archeological relics from Thracian age (Pomorie Tomb), from Roman-Byzantine time (fortification walls and Roman baths) and unique historical monuments  can be visited in the area of the Region.

Religious objects as churches and convents are another group of anthropological resources for tourism.

The tourists can witness unique traditions and ritual dances preserved till nowadays in the villages of Strandja mountain.

Fire dancing is an unique phenomenon, performed with great mysticism, which hasn’t yet revealed its mysteries.
