Festival - traditions and crafts

Festival of traditions and crafts
District Government Burgas organizes the festival "Days of Regional Traditional Crafts and Tourist Products of the Black Sea Basin" during the period from 25 to 27 September 2015
The aim of the three-day festival is promoting traditional products like crafts, cuisine, regional and local tourist products from our partners from the Black Sea basin.
Rich history, exciting lifestyle, various culinary delights, old and well communicated crafts, dancing, music, and beautiful scenery are just some of the alternative forms of tourism, which the regions in the Black Sea basin can offer.
The festival is part of the events under the project "Tourism Paths of the Black Sea Region" BSB-TOUR, financed by the European Union and the Republic of Bulgaria under the SOP "Cooperation in the Black Sea Basin" (2007-2013).
The project involves 9 partners from 7 countries - Prefecture Central Macedonia, Greece - leading partner; Regional Administration Burgas - Bulgaria, State Agency for Environmental Protection and NGOs Agricola Ukraine; International Center for Caucasus Tourism - Georgia; Advisory Environmental Center Cahul, Moldova; Armenian State Agrarian University of Armenia Development Agency and East Marmara Development Agency of Thrace from Turkey.
Presenting them as an exciting and interesting opportunity for tourists, who seek extraordinary experiences, is the goal of the project "Tourism Path of the Black Sea Region", which started a year and a half ago.
The festival will present cultural traditions and specific products from the Black Sea region as a major asset for the development of new tourist destinations and products. Because of the festival there will be an opportunity to establish new contacts between participants, including tour operators and organizations that develop and offer new destinations and products.
Target groups of participants in the festival include craftsmen, producers and organizations that represent local cultural traditions, crafts, and tourism products from the Black Sea region.
During the festival will be held the so-called "Clever Games", which will provoke the creativity of the contestants and the interest of visitors. The event will end with a press conference.
